Privacy notice
Reintouch is operated by Lithstone Technologies. This notice explains how we handle information in your account and private memory archives. Effective October 15, 2026. Contact support@reintouch.com with privacy questions or requests.
Information you provide
We process your account email, account identifier, profile details, memorial names and relationships, questionnaire answers, stories, messages, photos, audio, documents, contributor invitations, and conversations you choose to save. Your uploads and chats may include sensitive information about you or others. Share only material you have permission and authority to provide, and avoid unnecessary private information.
Why we process information
We use this information to authenticate your account, store and display your archives, manage invited access, create AI responses when you allow them, operate voice and video features you authorize, verify subscriptions, enforce usage limits, respond to reports, and protect the service. We keep permission records, usage counts, and operational error information for these purposes.
Account, hosting, and payment services
Supabase provides email-and-password authentication. Reintouch uses Cloudflare-hosted databases and private file storage through its hosting platform. Stripe processes website payments; Apple processes App Store purchases. Reintouch stores subscription identifiers and status to provide paid access. Full payment-card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored in your memory archive. These services may process account, device, connection, security, and transaction information needed to operate their services.
OpenAI — text conversations
Before AI conversations, we ask permission to send OpenAI your message, relevant conversation history and saved conversation memories, and relevant archive details such as names, relationships, personality answers, and source excerpts. These provide context for an AI response. We request that responses not be stored as reusable API response objects. This is not zero retention: OpenAI’s default abuse-monitoring logs may contain request content and are normally retained for up to 30 days, with exceptions described in its policy. API data is not used to train OpenAI models by default.
ElevenLabs — optional custom voice
With separate rights confirmation, selected recordings and the voice-profile name are sent to ElevenLabs to create an AI voice. When you allow spoken replies, generated response text is sent to ElevenLabs to produce audio; that text may include personal details from your conversations. Provider retention and any model-improvement processing depend on ElevenLabs’ policy and account settings. Removing a custom voice requests deletion of its voice profile from ElevenLabs.
D-ID — optional AI video calls
With the archive owner’s likeness permission and your video-processing permission, the selected portrait and generated speech audio are sent to D-ID to animate an AI likeness. Your device connects to D-ID to receive the stream. Your optional camera preview stays on your device. Reintouch requests cleanup of temporary call assets when a call ends; cleanup interrupted by a connection or provider failure is retried when another call starts or the archive is deleted. Provider logs and retained records remain subject to D-ID’s policy.
Your device and browser
Microphone input begins only when you select it. Browser speech recognition may process audio through your browser or device vendor’s speech service; review its permission prompt and privacy information. The iOS Capture tab saves drafts locally until you choose to export or share them. Exported copies are outside Reintouch’s deletion controls. Session cookies keep you signed in. We do not include advertising trackers or sell archive content through this application.
Who can access your archive
Archives are private to the authenticated owner and accepted invited members according to their role. Conversations are scoped to the member who created them. Your own future-legacy archive stays private to you. Authorized service providers process information needed to supply their features. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to investigate misuse and protect people or the service. Service providers may process data in countries outside your own.
Retention, export, and deletion
Saved archives remain available until you remove their content, delete the archive, or delete your account. Use memorial settings to export your archive or delete it, and Account & privacy to delete your login and owned archives. Account deletion also removes saved chats and uploaded contributions associated with your account and requests applicable voice/video cleanup. Limited billing, security, backup, or legally required records may remain under the relevant provider’s retention rules. Deleting a Reintouch account does not cancel an App Store or website subscription; cancel through the provider before deleting your account.
Choices and requests
Account & privacy lets you allow or withdraw each AI provider’s permission. Withdrawal stops future requests from your account; it cannot recall information already processed. You can continue using archive features without enabling AI sharing. For access, correction, deletion, or other privacy requests, email support@reintouch.com from your account email. We may need to verify your identity. We will respond as required by applicable law. We do not promise absolute security, and you should keep your password and exported files private.
Children and changes to this notice
Reintouch is intended for adults and is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided information without appropriate authorization, contact support@reintouch.com. We will update the effective date when this notice changes and request new permission before materially changing the AI data sharing covered by your saved choice.
